Cozumel, 17 de mayo del 2025. – Con el tradicional disparo de salida en el mulle San Miguel, el presidente municipal, Jos\u00e9 Luis Chac\u00f3n M\u00e9ndez, encabez\u00f3 el inicio del esperado Rodeo de Lanchas Mexicanas edici\u00f3n LIV, en el que participan m\u00e1s de 110 embarcaciones locales y for\u00e1neas.

En compa\u00f1\u00eda del coordinador del Comit\u00e9 organizador de este torneo de pesca, Jalil Alejandro Mart\u00edn Gaeta, el presidente municipal, Chac\u00f3n, di\u00f3 a conocer que de acuerdo a la Conapesca, el Rodeo de Lanchas Mexicanas es el \u00fanico torneo que despu\u00e9s de la pandemia ha logrado llegar e incluso rebasar las 100 embarcaciones participantes.

\u201cEste n\u00famero de participantes es un buen augurio de que este torneo va para adelante, sobre todo porque participan muchas embarcaciones que vienen de Puerto Morelos, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Canc\u00fan, incluso desde Yucat\u00e1n, Campeche, de otros estados y de Estados Unidos\u201d se\u00f1al\u00f3 el Edil .

En este inicio de actividad pesquera tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes, el contralmirante del cuerpo general piloto aviador, doctor en defensa de seguridad nacional, diplomado de estado mayor, Jos\u00e9 Alberto Rodr\u00edguez Cuevas, comandante del Sector naval de Cozumel; la capit\u00e1n de puerto por suplencia, Yuliana Guadalupe Vel\u00e1zquez Gonz\u00e1lez; el suboficial, Javier Adonay Covarrubias Hern\u00e1ndez, comandante de la 558 compa\u00f1\u00eda de Guardia nacional; el general brigadier de estado mayor, Armando Toscano Ya\u00f1ez, comandante de la Guarnici\u00f3n Militar; el general de grupo piloto aviador del estado mayor, Jes\u00fas Bautista Alatorre, comandante de la Base a\u00e9rea militar no. 4, y Reina de la marina
\u00c1ngela Mariana Badillo Rodr\u00edguez.

Tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes, el consejero vitalicio de este torneo, Don Efra\u00edn \u201cPayo\u201d Flores; el director operativo del RLM, Alfonso Novelo Flores y el quinto regidor, Javier Ovidio V\u00e1zquez L\u00f3pez

Cabe destacar que con este torneo de pesca el gobierno municipal refrenda su compromiso de fomentar las actividades deportivas y culturales de la isla, que impulsan el desarrollo tur\u00edstico para propiciar el bienestar de las familias en Cozumel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
