Cozumel, a 7 de mayo del 2025.- A trav\u00e9s del tradicional intercambio de placas, el presidente municipal, Jos\u00e9 Luis Chac\u00f3n M\u00e9ndez, dio la bienvenida oficial al crucero tur\u00edstico Utopia of the Seas de la compa\u00f1\u00eda Royal Caribbean International, que arrib\u00f3 por primera vez a la isla como parte de su recorrido por el mar Caribe.

\u201cEs un honor tenerlos en este maravilloso Pueblo M\u00e1gico, que los recibe con los brazos abiertos, y que estoy seguro les ofrecer\u00e1 una grata experiencia en su estancia por la isla. Les recomiendo visitar la playa El Cielo, probar la gastronom\u00eda de nuestros restaurantes o dar un recorrido para conocer las playas del lado oriente de la isla. El Utopia of the Seas, de la clase Oasis, atrac\u00f3 en el muelle SSA M\u00e9xico. Esta majestuosa embarcaci\u00f3n cuenta con capacidad para 5 mil 668 pasajeros distribuidos en 2 mil 834 habitaciones, mide 362 metros de eslora y 47 metros de manga, y posee un tonelaje superior a las 236 mil toneladas.
