{"id":236,"date":"2025-02-20T13:14:43","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T18:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qronews.info\/?p=236"},"modified":"2025-03-14T13:15:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-14T18:15:16","slug":"gobierno-municipal-donara-predio-para-ampliacion-del-imss-en-cozumel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qronews.info\/?p=236","title":{"rendered":"GOBIERNO MUNICIPAL DONAR\u00c1 PREDIO PARA AMPLIACI\u00d3N DEL IMSS EN COZUMEL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La salud de los cozumele\u00f1os es una prioridad para el presidente municipal, Jos\u00e9 Luis Chac\u00f3n M\u00e9ndez, por ello, en colaboraci\u00f3n con el titular del IMSS en Quintana Roo, Javier Michael Naranjo Garc\u00eda, acord\u00f3 iniciar el proceso para la donaci\u00f3n de un predio propiedad del municipio para la ampliaci\u00f3n del Hospital General de Subzona con Medicina Familiar (HGSZ\/MF) No. 2 de Cozumel, lo cual propiciar\u00e1 m\u00e1s y mejores servicios a la comunidad.<br><br>El presidente Jos\u00e9 Luis Chac\u00f3n M\u00e9ndez expres\u00f3 la importancia de mejorar la infraestructura hospitalaria de la isla que tanto lo necesita para el servicio de las y los cozumele\u00f1os.<br><br>Fue claro en se\u00f1alar que el municipio necesita la construcci\u00f3n de un nuevo hospital, por lo que ofreci\u00f3 gestionar un terreno de cinco hect\u00e1reas para que ah\u00ed pueda alojarse un nuevo hospital.<br><br>Por su parte, el doctor Javier Michael Naranjo Garc\u00eda, titular del IMSS en Quintana Roo, subray\u00f3 la importancia de esta ampliaci\u00f3n, la cual permitir\u00e1 ofrecer servicios de calidad para toda la poblaci\u00f3n, garantizando que la salud sea una prioridad para los cozumele\u00f1os.<br><br>El jefe del Departamento de Construcci\u00f3n y Planeaci\u00f3n Inmobiliaria del IMSS en Quintana Roo, Gerardo M\u00e9ndez Garc\u00eda, detall\u00f3 que la unidad hospitalaria actualmente cuenta con ocho consultorios de medicina familiar y tres de especialidades. Con la ampliaci\u00f3n, se incrementar\u00e1n a 10 los consultorios de medicina familiar y a siete los de especialidades, mejorando as\u00ed la atenci\u00f3n y los servicios brindados.<br><br>El espacio que ser\u00e1 donado por el Ayuntamiento de Cozumel tiene una extensi\u00f3n de 927 metros cuadrados y se encuentra ubicado en la avenida 35 Sur, junto a la construcci\u00f3n existente. Esta ampliaci\u00f3n beneficiar\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 52 mil derechohabientes, lo que representa cerca del 95% de la poblaci\u00f3n de la isla.<br><br>Gracias a esta colaboraci\u00f3n, la infraestructura del hospital pasar\u00e1 de 25 a 40 camas de hospitalizaci\u00f3n y contar\u00e1 con 10 consultorios de medicina familiar, siete consultorios de especialidades, adem\u00e1s de expandir los servicios de rayos X y laboratorio.
